October in Rocklin and Realtor Rant reponse

During October there were 64 sales in the two Rocklin zip code areas. This is down from last year by 33.3 percent in the 95677 area and 22.2 percent in 95765. During September there were 69 sales.

The median prices paid in Rocklin were also down. In the 95677 area they were off 12.5 percent from last October to $420,000. The good news is the median increased from 399,000 in September which is a good indication of the care one should give in looking at numbers where there is not a great deal of activity. In the 95765 area the median price was $426,000 down 15.5 percent from last year and down form $467,000 in September.
